Fady S. Wanna, M.D.

Dr. Wanna is a graduate of the University of California. He conducted his cardiothoracic residency at Emory University in Atlanta. He is Board Certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Wanna serves on the Medical Executive Committee at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He joined CTVS in July of 2000.

Dr. Wanna and his wife Carol, who is an OBGYN physician, have three children.

Laura L. Reed, M.D.

Dr. Reed is a graduate of the Universities of Illinois and Kentucky. She is Board Certified in general cardiothoracic surgery. She joined CTVS in February of 2003 after six years of private practice in Kentucky. Dr. Reed has the distinction of being the first female cardiothoracic surgeon to practice in the state of Georgia. 

In her spare time Dr. Reed enjoys ice hockey and hiking.

Michael L. Klyachkin, M.D.

Dr. Klyachkin is a graduate of general surgical and vascular programs in Russia and at the Universities of Kentucky and Stony Brook. He is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Klyachkin is also a member of the Society of Vascular Surgeons. He joined CTVS in July of 2004, bringing with him a vast array of knowledge and experience.

Dr. Klyachkin enjoys playing soccer, he is married and has three children.

Peter J. Bolan, M.D.

Dr Bolan is a graduate of Knox College and Rush Medical College. He conducted his general surgery residency at Emory University, and his cardiothoracic residency was carried out at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He is Board Certified in general and horacic surgery. He has a special interest in thoracic aortic surgery. Dr. Bolan joined CTVS in January of 2005 after two years of private practice in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dr. Bolan and his wife have two young children.  He enjoys playing golf.

William B. Schroder, M.D.

Dr. Schroder graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1984, finished General Surgery in 1989 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Vascular Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry ofNew Jersey in 1991. He is Board-Certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, and is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

Dr. Schroder is an avid Tennis player, golfer, an amateur photographer, and enjoys driving his vintage Triumph TR6. His wife Joanne Kennedy is a Pediatrician on staff at the Children's Hospital. They have two children.
